look#2: off white peplum cut out top + black fold over wet look skirt + gold details + black and raffia wedges 

so im thinking this would work well for a dinner out, or in jakarta it wouldn't be out of place for a trip to the shopping centre! i'm loving this combination atm especially because im currently obsessed with leather. ive had the fabric used for this skirt for years now and had been dying to make something from it. its a thin material that looks like leather...which is perfect for hot weather. i designed the skirt so that the fold over section falls just below the knee and there is a stitch line to hold the fold in place when you sit so that it doesn't flare open. i fell in love with shoes with a similar design from the label xsml...i think they are a perfect interpretation of the raffia wedge trend (basically because they don't look like a picnic basket or like you could only wear them near a beach...anyway),  xsml didn't have my size so i was really happy when i finally found these shoes from pedro.

wednesday in-house: bedroom inspiration

i've decided to post on a more regular basis but with a little more direction. just so i can organise all the lovely pics a little more easily and not have so many half done posts sitting in my drafts. so wednesdays will be about all things indoors...bedroom inspiration, playroom inspiration, fun activities, toys etc. so here are some pics of bedrooms i love. they all have a cosiness and character that immediately give you a sense of what that child and their families style and enjoyments are.

how do they keep that carpet white! they deserve an award just for that...ofcourse I'm a sucker for chalk board walls and the wooden horse is gorgeous via valkoinen harmaja
