so im thinking this would work well for a dinner out, or in jakarta it wouldn't be out of place for a trip to the shopping centre! i'm loving this combination atm especially because im currently obsessed with leather. ive had the fabric used for this skirt for years now and had been dying to make something from it. its a thin material that looks like leather...which is perfect for hot weather. i designed the skirt so that the fold over section falls just below the knee and there is a stitch line to hold the fold in place when you sit so that it doesn't flare open. i fell in love with shoes with a similar design from the label xsml...i think they are a perfect interpretation of the raffia wedge trend (basically because they don't look like a picnic basket or like you could only wear them near a beach...anyway), xsml didn't have my size so i was really happy when i finally found these shoes from pedro.
