to be honest i don't really 'get' Chanel tweed, the furthest i can stretch the style for wear is maybe one of their jackets with jeans, otherwise i don't usually find it particularly interesting (doesn't mean i don't respect it...), but chanels pre-fall 2012 collection was really fun to look at, the evening glam rock make up was gorgeous and i liked the dreaded hair contrasting it...still not too much i would actually wear (even if i could afford it!). obviously Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by India, and apparently he has never been!
i was completely taken by this head piece...looks amazing, especially in the profile shot. if i could, i would permanently have it affixed to my head! maybe a similar looking hair piece pinned into a rough bun could translate into every day.
my favourite outfit was this gold and black number. the total look and each part was just lovely....and those shoes.
